Ideas That Work Series: Day 4 Episode 4 — 9 Steps to Build Organic Influence in 90 Days

I am super excited to share with you all something that’s been a game-changer in my life lately – building organic influence in just 90 days!

Over the past few months, I’ve been working to grow my personal brand and following on LinkedIn.

And let me tell you, it has paid off in ways I never could have imagined.

Not only have I been able to connect with some amazing people and grow my network, but I’ve also been able to establish myself as a thought leader in my industry.

But here’s the thing – it didn’t happen overnight. It took a lot of hard work and dedication.

Below are the 9 steps that helped me and I am sharing these to help you:
1.      Approach Strategically: Choose the quality of the audience than the number of followers.
2.      Add value by focusing on what matters.
3.      No fame game.
4.      Don’t focus on likes and followers.
5.      Do it like you do farming, a long-term approach but very powerful.
6.      Make a list of the top 100 pain point questions of your target market or prospective clients and start answering them by creating posts on LinkedIn.
7.      Generate 10 questions in each sub-topic.
8.      Pick 10 big problems, 10 questions for each problem = 10 * 10 = 100.
9.      Start creating infographic material, videos, and podcasts based on these questions. Utilize them in your LinkedIn posts.

Hope the above steps will also help you grow your LinkedIn profile very quickly and impactfully.

Addressing burning questions asked by your readers in your content is really important.

It’s something that we often overlook, but it can make a huge impact on the success of our work as a blogger or a coach.

Let me tell you my story.

When I first started writing on https://hubpages.com/@soni2006, I luckily noticed a question-and-answer bank that had thousands of questions asked by the readers on HP.

I decided to pick 3 questions every day and started finding solutions for them.

Then I started writing 800-word answers to those questions in my own words and started converting them into articles.

In this process, I published almost 500 articles and won 800 dollars in cash prizes.

The 500 articles that I wrote over there started paying me another 1000 dollars per month.

This led to my outstanding Google authority.

I uploaded and promoted my articles to various social media marketing portals and this enhanced my authority further.

Very impactful article sir. Of all the points you have listed, the fifth one has really touched me. Thank you

Yes, Shaifali Sangal, organic influence building is just like farming, a long-term approach but very powerful.

Have you ever tried to force a new plant to grow faster by overwatering or adding too much fertilizer?

It might work temporarily, but in the long run, your efforts will be fruitless.

Farming, just like organic influence building, requires a long-term approach but yields powerful results.

As a digital coach, I’ve seen too many businesses resort to quick fixes and paid promotions to boost their social media presence.

Sure, this may give them a temporary following, but it won’t create lasting relationships with their audience.

Organic influence building, on the other hand, requires consistent effort and patience.

It’s about cultivating an authentic, engaged community of followers who are genuinely interested in what you have to say.

You can’t buy this kind of loyalty with Facebook ads.

Just like farming, organic influence building takes time, and you need to put in the work to reap the rewards.

You need to be active on social media, respond to comments and messages, and provide valuable content that resonates with your audience. And I am just doing the same.

This post is very insightful!

Personal branding on LinkedIn and other platforms is crucial! It’s an opportunity to showcase our unique skills, experience, and personality. Building a strong personal brand can help us connect with like-minded professionals, create valuable networks, and open up new opportunities.
