Yes,at the outbreak of Corona-the tiny yet the mighty virus,all the regions in the world share the same concern and now look for similar goals.This is the moment when the whole human race stands as ONE and there seems to be no mental barrier,dividing us.We all exist as ONE with the spirit of many in body and one in mind,as quoted by Dr.Daisaku Ikeda(President of Soka Gakkai International),my spiritual mentor.In Sanskrit,there is word called,Adwait’,which means’with no dual function’.In the context of humanity,we understand the profoundness of this word,better now.As the world now finds NAMASTE to be a new alternative style of greeting each other to avoid the contagion ,we must not forget the real vedic meaning of NAMASTE-which means,’the divinity in me bows down to the divinity in you’.Mother EARTH has an inclusive approach towards all her inhabitants but we,as the most evolved life form have thrived exclusively on this planet.We
thought ourselves to be the most powerful of all the species,till recently when the lifeless yet the deadly virus invaded the human-bodies without any prior notice and scared the life out of us.This lifeless form,once inside the host body has the ability to multiply by using the body’s genetic mechanism.This is what happened to our nation,century back when colonial rule used our resources to build an empire after invading us.We need to learn through the mistakes we have made so far.With the manifestation of global issues like the outbreak of a pandemic disease or CLIMATE CHANGE,we need to reflect upon our inner and outer environment.We need to bow down to all forms of life and all the elements of nature.Hand in hand,we must together look for solutions to make mother EARTH-a sustainable home for all.
