Imposter Syndrome is a psychological pattern where a person starts doubting his talents and accomplishments. He thinks of himself as a fraud. A moment of harsh criticism can lead to feeling like an imposter.

How can someone overcome this situation? Please guide.

Fortunately, I came across a LinkedIn post that shared some tips on how to tackle this syndrome:

1. Be proud of your achievements: Big or small, keep track of your achievements. They will help you in conquering your self-doubts.

2. Watch out for trigger milestones: Imposter Syndrome kicks in situations when you can’t even think of it. For example, when getting a promotion, bagging a new project, applying for a job, etc. You need to pay attention during these circumstances instead of getting overwhelmed by your insecurities.

3. Become a part of a community: To be honest, you are not alone. You will come across people who have gone through the same condition. Become a part of a community that supports healthy communication.

I am lucky to be a part of such a community 🙂
